#### PCX-7421 | 21.5 A Output Current Laser Diode Driver

 

 

These air-cooled drivers deliver precise, high-current control for diode lasers, bars, and arrays in pulsed (QCW) and continuous wave (CW) modes—ideal for research, industrial, medical, defense, and pumping applications.

##### PCX-7421 (Pulsed/QCW Focus):

- Adjustable pulsed output current: 50 mA – 21.5 A
- Pulse width: 50 ns – 500 ms
- Rise/fall time: <25 ns
- Compliance voltage: 24 V
- Internal pulse rep rate: 40 Hz – 100 kHz
- External trigger rep rate: single-shot to 1 MHz
- High-power, air-cooled design for reliable operation

##### PCX-7121 (CW + QCW Capabilities):

- CW (DC) output: 0.05 A – 5.8 A
- QCW/pulsed output: 50 mA – 21.5 A
- Bias + pulse mode: CW bias 0.05 A – 5.8 A, pulse up to 15.7 A above bias
- Independent triggering of bias current and main pulse (advanced feature)
- Versatile for combined continuous and pulsed drive scenarios

Both models provide exceptional performance, fast edges, and flexibility for driving high-power laser diodes with accuracy and repeatability.
